Our Terms & Conditions are quite simple and jargon free.

“We, Us and Our” Refers to AlarmEx.co.uk itself and / or engineers employed by or working on behalf of.

Our quotations are all free of charge with no obligation.

We reserve the right to refuse to give verbal quotations over the telephone or e-mail without first seeing the work entailed.

If you request and agree to an engineer attending site then you are entering into a contract, charges for works will be agreed prior to starting any work, if you refuse access to the engineer after requesting one, you may be charged for the visit.

We operate on a “Payment On Completion” basis unless agreed in advance and only in exceptional circumstances, should any party be granted such an exception, then fail to pay on time when requested shall then be liable to a 10% admin surcharge, this will be added to the total amount. In addition to this, all guarantees on equipment shall be null and void even after payment has been recovered.

Payment method should be made clear prior to commencement of works, The options are Cash, Cheque, BAC’s or Card Payment.

In certain cases, a Pro Forma payment shall be requested prior to ordering equipment and commencement of works.

We reserve the right to refuse to attend site should we deem any request to be inappropriate or not within our remit, a reason shall not need to be given.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that furniture, soft furnishing and breakable items are removed as requested to aid work to commence safely for all parties. It is our responsibility make clear what needs to be moved as appropriate in advance.

It would be appreciated that smoking is refrained while our work commences.

We securely retain customers contact information as default, should you wish this not to happen, then you need to make this clear to us in writing.

Guarantees: Supplied and Installed Goods shall be guaranteed for 12 months from the date of installation, exceptions to this are ALL batteries and remote key fobs / proximity tags. This is due to variables in usage, power outages and user negligence / accidentals.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
