System Types:
The most common, reliable and secure system is a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) or an NVR (Network Video Recorder), this is similar to a TV video recorder in appearance and each camera connects via a cable to the machine, within the machine is a hard drive (Similar to the drive inside a computer) this drive will store the images for a period of time, this period depends upon the size of the drive, the bigger the more storage!
Cameras:
CCTV Cameras come in several different styles, from large dome type, bullet type to covert versions. There are also differences in image quality, it all depends just what you are trying to capture.
Remote Viewing:
All DVR’s / NVR’s supplied by AlarmEx are capable of being viewed remotely on your smart phone, tablet or PC… And…. LIVE too!
No Broadband on site? Don’t worry, we can supply a Mobile Data Modem to make this happen!
CCTV equipment and installation is generically expensive due to the initial cost and the complexity, AlarmEx will only install equipment that we supply ourselves, this is because we supply very high quality kit that we trust and know will not let you or us down. Quotations will only be given upon first partaking in a survey, ball park prices will not be given!
